Month: April 2017
Following a consultation undertaken in the Autumn last year, and as a consequence of there being a majority in favour, South Bucks District Council (SBDC) have agreed that numbering will be introduced. They will now start the process of allocating postal numbers to all properties on Blackpond Lane and a postal numbering plan is being prepared. They will then consult on this with with Royal Mail
Once this is completed, letters will be sent out to all residents in due course.
The matter is not within the control of the Parish Council but if you have any concerns we can forward them to SBDC on your behalf. Please contact the Clerk.
Some residents have been concerned about the number of burglaries in the area recently. The police tell us that it is nothing to be alarmed about with no evidence the area is being targeted or experiencing any spike in criminal activities. However they think it is a good idea for everyone to be better informed about how to safeguard their homes and have provided us with the checklist in the link below.
Our next meeting is on Monday 24th April at Farnham Royal Village Hall at 7.30pm. Please take a look at the agenda on the Parish Council page of this website. If there is anything you would like to raise with us then please come along – at least for the start of our next meeting – and have your say. We hold an open forum at the start of each meeting for residents to let us know of their concerns for the parish.
