What does the plan aim to achieve?

A Neighbourhood Plan is a land use document that, once adopted, becomes part of the area’s development plan.

This means its policies will have full influence when determining planning applications.

It is important you vote in the referendum to have your say on the future of Farnham Royal and Farnham Common through to 2040.

Referendum Voting Information

Vote on 25 September 2025

The Referendum Process

The plan application was submitted in 2016, and since then, it has been developed with contributions from local residents and expert consultants, supported by the Parish Council.

A draft plan was presented to Buckinghamshire Council in late 2024 and following independent examination received approval for a referendum in July 2025.
