It is with great sadness that Farnham Royal Parish Council has learned of the death of HRH Queen Elizabeth II.
We send our deepest condolences to the Royal Family on behalf of the residents of Farnham Common and Farnham Royal.

Union Flags and Proclamation of the King
As a mark of respect, Union flags will be flown at half-mast until the morning after the funeral with the exception of 11.00am on 10 September 2022 until 1.30pm on 11 September 2022 for the Proclamation of the King.
Residents and community organisations are invited to lay flowers around the flagpoles in Farnham Common and Farnham Royal.
It is requested all cellophane is removed when the flowers are placed. The flowers will be removed on the morning after the funeral.
Books of Condolence
These will be opened on Monday 12 September 2022 and members of the public are encouraged to share their thoughts. They will be available at:

Farnham Common Village Hall between 9.30am and 6.00pm, Monday to Friday.

St John’s Church, Farnham Common between 10.00am and 12 noon and between 2.00pm and 4.00pm, Monday to Thursday.

St Mary’s Church, Farnham Royal between 10.00am and 12 noon and between 2.00pm and 4.00pm, Monday to Thursday
All books will be available until 5.00pm on Tuesday 20 September 2022.
