Child Sexual Exploitation online discussion
Online discussion – could you spot the signs of CSE?
Thames Valley Police are supporting National Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Awareness Day to help encourage everyone to think, spot and speak out against abuse.
CSE is a form of sexual abuse that involves the manipulation and/or coercion of young people under the age of 18 into sexual activity. Any child can be sexually exploited no matter where they’re from or if they’re a boy or a girl.
At 12.30pm on Wednesday (22/3), D/Supt Nick John, Head of TVP’s Protecting Vulnerable People unit, will be hosting a live online discussion about CSE.
Aimed at parents, carers and those working with young people the online chat is open to all members of the public giving the opportunity for you to ask any questions you might have.
You can take part via our online discussion page. You do not have to register and can ask your questions anonymously – http://bit.ly/2nvSVr3
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility so please join us to talk about how we can keep our children safe from harm.
